About Us
I'm Angel, an NMC Registered Nurse of 4 years, and an advanced aesthetics practitioner. I started Angelic Aesthetics rather spontaneously over 2 years ago due to wanting my own business. I'd never had any treatments before so it was a HUGE leap with zero understanding of the industry. I started offering treatments to friends & family, gained my first clients and opened a clinic from Antoniou Hair & Beauty all within the first 6 months. 2 years later, my (not-so) small business has out-grown the tiny canterbury clinic, and I have my first lease to a shop which is being renovated and will be open for summer 2026!
F&Qs
What do you specialise in?
I love to create natural results, working with the shape and contour of your own lips. Occasionally, we can use filler to slight alter if theres asymmetry, however, my brand voice is to produce a professional, natural enhancement.
What are your credentials?
I am registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), trained by Derma Institute in London, and fully ensured by Insync. Since qualifying, I have attended 5+ masterclasses to enhance my skillset within the aesthetics industry.
What are your opening times?
Typically, Saturday 9am-5pm, Thursdays 9am-5pm and other weekdays 9am-11am. I work full-time as a Sister within the NHS alongside running my own business. I therefore open the calendar on days that are available. All availability will be accessible via Fresha on the 'book now' button. We aim to have set opening times/days once our shop is open.
What if the treatments are painful?
We use Emla cream for select treatments, which is a topical lidocaine aimed at reducing the pain felt by the needles. In addition, the brand of filler we use (Kairax) has lidocaine within, further numbing as we progress. I am very communicative with my clients, and will stop to apply more cream if necessary at any point.
What if I have post-treatment complications?
As many of my clients know, I always provide my mobile number and encourage them to contact me if they have ANY questions or concerns. Getting injectable treatments can be nerve-wracking and having nurse-led aftercare can ease the anxiety. I am fully complications trained, and utilise my nursing professional within this sector. In addition, filler clients receive an ice-pack and an arnica lip balm to soothe the effects of swelling and bruising.
Is there an age restriction?
We are strictly 18+, as you will find with all aesthetics companies. We are not insured or would ethically consider treating anyone below this age. If we suspect you're under the threshold, we will require ID to validate.
What is your cancellation policy?
We accept all cancellations up to 48 hours prior to the appointment. When booking via fresha, we ask for your card details to confirm the slot, if you do not attend , or cancel within 48 hours, then 50% of the booking will be charged to your card. If this declines, you will be unable to book further appointments until this balance has been paid. This is due to us not having the ability to book another person into a slot within that short notice.
